CAMP DETAILS

With a school value of “Dig Deep. Work Hard. Be Real” we couldn’t be more excited to work with Nicole Matos, NMH Head Coach to run a youth field hockey training experience this summer. Coach Matos has been involved with Revolution Field Hockey Camps for a number of years as staff at our various summer sessions. NMH boasts two turf fields, comfortable dormitories, ample indoor & outdoor spaces for leadership and camper bonding activities. An outstanding staff of NCAA Players, Olympians and Club Coaches, ensure a warm welcome when you join us on campus this summer.  Every camper will receive a limited edition reversible jersey, ball, water bottle, and lanyard as well as other fun prizes. *Revo Field Hockey Camps are open to all ability levels.

At the Northfield Mount Hermon School Camp campers will receive:

1st Day

  • 12:00pm – Registration for Overnight Campers
  • 12:30 – Registration for Extended Day Campers
  • 1:00pm-2:00pm Orientation
  • 2:00pm-4:30pm – Afternoon Field Hockey Session
  • 4:30pm-5:00pm – Free Time
  • 5:00pm-5:45pm – Dinner
  • 6:00pm-9:00pm – Night Field Hockey Session/Pick up
  • 8:30 – 9:00pm – Commuter Pick Up

2nd and 3rd Days

  • 8:45am – Commuter Drop Off at Fields
  • 9:00am-11:30am – Morning Field Hockey Session
  • 11:30am-12:30pm – Lunch
  • 12:30pm-1:30pm – Free Time
  • 1:30pm-4:00pm – Afternoon Field Hockey Session
  • 4:00pm-5:00pm – Free Time
  • 5:00pm-5:45pm – Dinner
  • 6:00pm-9:00pm – Night Field Hockey Session/Pick up
  • 8:30 – 9:00pm – Commuter Pick Up

4th Day

    • 8:45am – Commuter Drop Off
    • 9:00am – 11:30am – Morning Field Hockey Session
    • 11:30pm – Closing Ceremonies
    • 12:00pm- Check Out

Check In: Overnight and Extended Day Campers check in at 12pm on the first day.

Check Out: Campers will check-out check out at 12pm on the last day.

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed during lunch, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Group Discounts: Team/Group discounts are given to groups who register together. For 5-9 players, the discount is $25 off for each camper. For 10 players or more, the discount is $35 for each camper. To receive this discount, please call our office at 800-944.7112 for a Coupon Code. This coupon code will enable all your group to register online individually and receive the discount.

ABILITY GROUPS
Players are grouped first by age and then by ability. The first session is an assessment session – we will update groups after the first day.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
Trainers are on site to aid in illness, injury prevention and first aid.
HEALTH FORMS
All campers are required to have a completed health form in order to participate at camp. You can either fill out our health form or use the doctors form and use our form as a cover page. Please fill out contact information and parent signature. HEALTH FORM
WEATHER PLAN
We utilize inclement weather opportunities to focus on team building, strategy sessions, individual meetings.
TRAVEL
You are responsible for getting yourself to and from campus, Revolution Field Hockey does not provide transportation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any Camper who must cancel their registration more than fifteen (15) days prior to the camp start date will receive a voucher equal to the full amount of camp tuition already paid which may be used toward any program or camp offered by eCamps. If a camper must cancel their registration fourteen (14) days or fewer prior to the start of camp, eCamps will issue camper or parent a voucher equal to 50% of the camp tuition, which can be transferred to a future program or camp within the same calendar year or next calendar year.  The voucher is also transferable to another family member and is good for any camp offered by eCamps within one year of the date of purchase.  Camp vouchers are not extended to campers who leave camp after the start of a session.  Cash refunds are not offered under any circumstances.

If eCamps Sports Network is forced to postpone your child’s 2020 summer camp due to the facility being closed or by government mandate, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid (never expires, fully transferable & for any sport).

 

STAFF DETAILS

Nicole Matos joined the Northfield Mount Hermon School coaching staff in 2018. Coach Matos comes from Smith College, where she was a graduate assistant coach of the field hockey team and an athletic administration fellow. Nicole also has been an assistant coach of field hockey and lacrosse at Williams College, and a four-year goalkeeper for the field hockey team at St. Lawrence University, where she set a school record for career saves. She was twice named to the conference First Team, and has coached athletes to First-Team and Regional All American honors as well. Nicole has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Lawrence and a master’s in exercise and sport studies from Smith.
