CAMP DETAILS

Focus Field Hockey Club Director, Kristen McCann and former USA Field Hockey Member will lead you through a great week of field hockey and fun. The Hun School is located between Philadelphia and New York City and is nestled on an idyllic forty-five acre campus, less than two miles from downtown Princeton and Princeton University. Campers will train on the turf athletic field and enjoy staying in the campus dorms. Revolution Field Hockey is a USA Field Hockey Partner Camp making recommendations into the Futures Program. Every camper will receive a limited edition reversible jersey, ball, water bottle, and lanyard as well as other fun prizes. *Revo Field Hockey Camps are open to all ability levels.

Check In: 11am – 12pm for both commuters and overnight campers. Tip for Extended Day Campers is to come at 11:30am. First meal is Dinner. Check-in location will be at the “mall” behind the main brick building, find parking first and walk through or around the main building to find us.

Check Out:  Wednesday, August 8th. Parents are invited to attend final scrimmages that begin with warm-ups at 9:00am. Check-out and departure will follow at 12:00pm at “mall” behind the main brick building.

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Group Discounts: Team/Group discounts are given to groups who register together. For 5-9 players, the discount is $25 off for each camper. For 10 players or more, the discount is $50 for each camper. ABILITY GROUPS
Players are grouped first by age and then by ability. The first session is an assessment session – we will update groups after the first day.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
Trainers are on site to aid in illness, injury prevention and first aid.
HEALTH FORMS
All campers are required to have a completed health form in order to participate at camp. You can either fill out our health form or use the doctors form and use our form as a cover page. Please fill out contact information and parent signature. HEALTH FORM
WEATHER PLAN
We utilize inclement weather opportunities to focus on team building, strategy sessions, individual meetings.
TRAVEL
The nearest airports are Philadelphia Airport in Philadelphia, PA or and Newark International Airport in Newark, NJ. You are responsible for getting yourself to and from campus, Revolution Field Hockey does not provide transportation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any Camper who must cancel their registration more than fifteen (15) days prior to the camp start date will receive a voucher equal to the full amount of camp tuition already paid which may be used toward any program or camp offered by eCamps. If a camper must cancel their registration fourteen (14) days or fewer prior to the start of camp, eCamps will issue camper or parent a voucher equal to 50% of the camp tuition, which can be transferred to a future program or camp within the same calendar year or next calendar year.  The voucher is also transferable to another family member and is good for any camp offered by eCamps within one year of the date of purchase.  Camp vouchers are not extended to campers who leave camp after the start of a session. Cash refunds are not offered under any circumstances.

If eCamps Sports Network is forced to postpone your child’s 2020 summer camp due to the facility being closed or by government mandate, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid (never expires, fully transferable & for any sport).

STAFF DETAILS

Kristen competed with the U.S. National Field Hockey Team from 2000-04. During that stretch, she earned 74 International caps while tallying 20 goals. She competed in the 10th World Cup in Perth, Australia, helping the U.S. to a top 10 finish. Kristen also earned a silver medal on the 2003 Pan American Games team.

During her playing career at UNC, Kristen earned All-American honors, Academic All-American honors, ACC Player of the Year and 2 NCAA National Championships. She guided UNC to a national runner up finish in 2000 and was named the Tag-Heuer Athlete of the year in 2001.  She was named to the ACC 50th Anniversary team in 2002 after scoring 59 career goals for UNC.

Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina in 2001. In May of 2007, she completed her Masters in Public Policy from William & Mary. Kristen spent 3 years as the Assistant Coach at William & Mary before starting Focus.
