Age & Ability: Camp is open to ages 10-18 of all ability levels.

CAMP DETAILS

The Southern Maine Community Recreation Center, known as the Gorham Sports Center or colloquially as “Your Space”, is a large indoor sports facility with garage door walls to create an open air feel in the summer.

GSC features a large (239’x166′) open-style turf field  and is often regarded as the best indoor playing surface in the region. GSC takes pride in maintaining a safe, modern, all-inclusive and family-friendly facility.

Check In: Campers will check-in daily at 8:15am each day at the athletic field. Please allow a few extra minutes on the first day to allow for initial registration.

Check Out: Campers will check-out each day at 12pm.

Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed during lunch, but not on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. Revolution Field Hockey and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Group Discounts: Team/Group discounts are given to groups who register together. For 5-9 players, the discount is $25 off for each camper. For 10 players or more, the discount is $50 for each camper. To receive this discount, please call our office at 800-944.7112 for a Coupon Code. This coupon code will enable all your group to register online individually and receive the discount.

ABILITY GROUPS
Players are grouped first by age and then by ability. The first session is an assessment session – we will update groups after the first day.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
Trainers are on site to aid in illness, injury prevention and first aid.
HEALTH FORMS
All campers are required to have a completed health form in order to participate at camp. You can either fill out our health form or use the doctors form and use our form as a cover page. Please fill out contact information and parent signature. HEALTH FORM
WEATHER PLAN
We utilize inclement weather opportunities to focus on team building, strategy sessions, individual meetings.
TRAVEL
You are responsible for getting yourself to and from campus, Revolution Field Hockey does not provide transportation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Any Camper who must cancel their registration more than fifteen (15) days prior to the camp start date will receive a voucher equal to the full amount of camp tuition already paid which may be used toward any program or camp offered by eCamps. If a camper must cancel their registration fourteen (14) days or fewer prior to the start of camp, eCamps will issue camper or parent a voucher equal to 50% of the camp tuition, which can be transferred to a future program or camp within the same calendar year or next calendar year.  The voucher is also transferable to another family member and is good for any camp offered by eCamps within one year of the date of purchase.  Camp vouchers are not extended to campers who leave camp after the start of a session.  Cash refunds are not offered under any circumstances.

If eCamps Sports Network is forced to postpone your child’s 2020 summer camp due to the facility being closed or by government mandate, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid (never expires, fully transferable & for any sport).

STAFF DETAILS

Dani has experience in college field hockey across divisions I, II, and III, as well as youth coaching experience with USA Field Hockey, camps, local clinics, and as the director of Coastal Field Hockey Club.

Dani is currently the head field hockey coach at Bates College in Lewiston, ME. Bates is a member of the prestigious and nationally dominate NESCAC field hockey conference.  During Dani’s time at Bates, she has guided the program to its best seasons in the last two decades, along with numerous program firsts.

Before taking the helm at Bates College, Dani was the head coach at the University of New England (UNE). While at UNE she led the program to its first ever, and the University’s first ever, National top 20 ranking. For her successes as head coach at UNE, Dani was named the TCCC Coach of the year.

Prior to entering the head coaching ranks, Ryder gained valuable experience as an assistant coach at Division I University of Vermont, and at NESCAC member and Bates rival, Tufts University, where she helped guide the Jumbos to consecutive appearances at the NCAA Final Four.

Beyond her collegiate coaching experience Dani spent an enormous amount of time organizing and directing low cost, camps and clinics in the state of Maine. In addition Dani holds a USA Field Hockey level II coaching certification.
