At IHCTA, we take pride in providing the tools to prepare our campers not only for tennis competition, but to deal with life situations through instilling the importance of work ethics, discipline, consistency, goal setting, respect, team work, responsibilities, accountability, and compassion.
At the IHC Tennis Academy campers will receive:

8:20am – Breakfast
9:30am – Yoga, flexibility, coordination, balance, strength, cardi
10:00am – Tennis session (dead ball drills, stroke production)
11:00am – Camp activity focused on tennis development
(coordination, footwork, & hand-eye coordination – soccer, basketball, dodgeball, among others!)
*11:00am – Tennis session (live ball drills, guided point play)
12:00pm – Camp activity (tubing, rock climbing, canoeing, zipline, and many more!)
1:00pm – Lunch and rest
2:20pm – Tennis session (active drills, strategy, point play)
3:20pm – Camp activity (sailing, kayaking, archery, arts & crafts, woodworking, and many more!)
*3:20pm – Tennis session (match play, strategy, mental strength, on court conditioning)
4:30pm – General Swim
5:30pm – Shower hour
6:00pm – Dinner
7:00pm – Evening activity (color chase, night hike, amazing race, and many more!)

Check In: ALL CAMPERS August 24th. All campers should arrive dressed and ready to play!
Check Out: Parents are invited to attend the match play tournaments that begin at 3:00pm on the final day. Check-out for ALL CAMPERS will take place at 4:00pm at the tennis courts.
Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cameras, iPods/iPads, etc. Cell phones are allowed in the dorms and dining areas, but not on the courts during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All items will be the responsibility of the camper. adidas Tennis Camps and its staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or forgotten items.

Players are grouped first by age and then by ability. The first session is an assessment session – we will update groups after the first day
Trainers are on site to aid in illness, injury prevention and first aid.
All campers are required to have a completed health form in order to participate at camp. You can either fill out our health form or use the doctors form and use our form as a cover page. Please fill out contact information and parent signature. HEALTH FORM
We utilize inclement weather opportunities to focus on agility training, strategy sessions, individual meetings.
The nearest airport is Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport in Minneapolis, MN. You are responsible for getting yourself to and from campus, adidas Tennis Camps does not provide transportation.
Any camper who must cancel prior to camp will receive a camp credit equal to the amount of camp tuition already paid. The credit is transferable to another family member and is good for any adidas Tennis Camp or eCamps Partner program through next summer (agreement begins at time of purchase). Any cancellation within 5 days of the start of camp will result in a camp credit minus $100 cancellation fee. Camp credits are not extended to campers who leave camp after the start of a session. CASH/CREDIT CARD REFUNDS ARE NOT OFFERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
Nico is a PTR Certified Professional and former college player. He has been part of the IHC family for over 5 year and has been involved in the tennis community for over 15 years. Nico is passionate for sharing his love for tennis and developing players of all levels. Nico has worked with nationally ranked collegiate and junior players, as well as adult USTA teams.
Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, his love of tennis started at an early age. Nicolas earned a degree in accounting with honors at Reinhardt University on academic and athletic scholarship. During his time at Reinhardt he was an active member and team captain of the tennis team becoming NAIA conference champions for 3 consecutive years. After graduation he attended Georgia State University for Graduate School completing his Masters of Professional Accountancy.
When asked what his mission was Nicolas said, “My mission is to help players of all levels develop their tennis skills, build strong character, and become better people in the process”. In his free time Nicolas enjoys reading, learning, yoga, helping others, traveling, music, and spending time with loved ones.
